Wendy (Mueller) Irvine is the Owner and photographer here at the studio. Wendy grew up just around the corner in Sumner, IA. She graduated from Sumner High School and decided to pursue a career in photography. She went to school at Hawkeye Community College, which has one of the top Photography programs in the nation, where she earned her A.A.A. degree in photography. She then went to work at an area portrait studio. Here she met Curt Mueller (no, we aren't married and no, we aren't related).

Curt grew up in New London, Iowa where he also graduated from High School. He also went to school at Hawkeye and graduated with his A.A.A. in photography. After several years of working in various jobs in the industry he found himself working at a portrait studio with this girl with the same last name.

Wendy married Brian Irvine from Oelwein in 2006 and decided it was time to open her own studio. Thus, that fall, Impact Images was born! Curt of course followed her to town as a Digital Artist/Photographer. The two have been producing outstanding work ever since.

Here at the studio we specialize in babies, children, seniors, weddings and family photography. We also offer passport, event, sports, school dance, dance studio and fashion/modeling photography.
